AFL Round 8 - West Coast Eagles v Greater Western Sydney

West Coast Eagles will play at home two weeks in a row for rounds 7 and 8 of the 2014 AFL season. Following the first Western Derby of the season, West Coast Eagles will take on Greater Western Sydney at Patersons Stadium on Sunday 11 May at 2.40pm.

West Coast Eagles thrashed Greater Western Sydney by 100 points in their last encounter in 2013. A win will certainly help the Eagles climb the ladder as they continue to hold onto their top 8 position.

All tickets are available through Ticketmaster and can be purchased online, by phoning 1300 135 915 or by visiting an outlet.

As there are limited tickets remaining, Patersons Stadium encourages those wanting to attend the game to pre-purchase their ticket and to print them before arriving at the venue in order to avoid queues on the day.

In 2014, Patersons Stadium will open gates 90 minutes before the bounce down of each AFL match. Gates 8 & 26 will continue to open earlier for curtain raiser matches and to accommodate fans wanting to get to the venue in advance.

AFL Round 7 - West Coast Eagles v Fremantle

West Coast Eagles will take on Fremantle for the first western derby of the 2014 AFL season on Sunday 4 May at 2.40pm. Fremantle have won 3 out of 5 of the most recent derbies however the Eagles continue to sit above Fremantle on the AFL ladder.

Come to Patersons Stadium to see the two western rivaliries battle it out as they both strive to climb to the top positions on the 2014 AFL ladder.

AFL Round 6 - Fremantle v North Melbourne

Start your long weekend by coming to Patersons Stadium on Friday 25 April at 6.40pm to watch Fremantle take on North Melbourne for the ANZAC Day match.

Fremantle and North Melbourne are in similar positions on the AFL ladder and both have difficult matches to face in round 5 prior to their showdown. Fremantle have a number of key players out with injury but Walters, Mayne, Wood, Bradley, Ibbotson and Pearce will hopefully return by round 6.

Round 5 - West Coast Eagles v Port Adelaide

West Coast Eagles remain undefeated heading into the fourth round of the 2014 AFL season but will they continue their winning streak when they head back to Patersons Stadium to play Port Adelaide on Saturday 19 April at 5.40pm.

Port Adelaide is holding a top 8 position and should put up a good fight against the Eagles. This is a game that could go either way and won’t be one to miss! Come to Patersons Stadium and cheer on the Eagles as they continue their awesome start to the 2014 AFL season.

Round 4 - Fremantle v Essendon

Following their away match against Hawthorn, Fremantle will return home to play Essendon at Patersons Stadium on Sunday 13 April at 2.40pm.

Fremantle continue to sit in the top 8 on the ladder as they move towards round 4 of the 2014 AFL season. Their last match at Patersons Stadium saw the team perform well in poor weather conditions resulting in Gold Coast unable to keep up. However when playing the 2013 Grand Finalists in round 3 Fremantle struggled to stay in the contest! Who thinks they can defeat Essendon and move back into a top 4 position?

New Audio Visual System

Paterson's Stadium launched its new audio visual system to AFL spectators at the West Coast Eagles and Western Bulldogs game on Sunday, March 23.

This was the first opportunity to utilise the AV system on an AFL match day and also presented the opportunity to seek valuable feedback from spectators at the game.
